Larimer County Community Corrections (LCCC), the gold standard for
community corrections in Colorado, is seeking an experienced
Community Corrections Director to drive innovation, collaboration,
and impact.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the community
corrections program, working with local and state stakeholders to
enhance public safety and change lives. If you are a results-driven

In May 2023, CJA opened its state-of-the-art all-women's facility,
bringing all women's programming under one roof. This facility
includes 56 work release beds and 120 community corrections beds,
providing comprehensive, in-house substance use treatment through
specialized programs like Women in Recovery (WINR), Short Term
Intensive Residential Remedial Treatment (STIRRT), and a
Residential Dual Diagnosis Program.In partnership with Colorado
State University, we integrate a gender-responsive, trauma-informed
approach tailored to justice-involved women. As one of only three
county-run community corrections programs in Colorado, LCCC offers
a vital alternative to incarceration and stands out for:

What you'll be doing:
Leading comprehensive programs and services for LCCC clients.
Managing the department's budget and securing diverse funding
sources.
Advocating for program funding and criminal justice reform at
local, state, and legislative levels.
Collaborating with County departments, external agencies, and
justice stakeholders.
Supervising and developing staff through training, evaluation, and
hands-on leadership.
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and
regulations.
Evaluating program effectiveness and driving continuous
improvement.
Championing alternatives to incarceration and innovative approaches
to community corrections.

What we're looking for:
8+ years of experience in the criminal justice system, including 5+
years in leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of the criminal justice system and experience
managing complex, multi-source budgets.
Exceptional public speaking skills with experience in stakeholder
collaboration and legislative testimony.
A hands-on leadership approach, actively engaging with staff and
clients.
Passion for alternatives to incarceration, behavioral health
programming, and substance use treatment.
Proven ability to build and sustain a high-performing team in a
demanding environment.
Innovative problem-solving skills to address funding, staffing, and
support for high-risk populations.

Eight (8) years' experience in a criminal justice field, with at
least five (5) years of experience in supervision and
administration of criminal justice programs and staff.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with
major course work in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Social Science,
Public Administration, or a closely related field.
Possession of a valid Driver's License by date of hire.
